By downloading, installing, or using Wakt (the "app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Eligibility

You may use Wakt where it is legally available and on devices that meet its requirements (Android 10.0 or later). If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, please use the app with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

A free app

Wakt is provided free of charge and without advertising. We may add, change, or remove features over time, and we may stop distributing the app, without prior notice.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Wakt only for lawful purposes and not to misuse it.

Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or compromise the app except where such activity is expressly permitted by law.
Do not use the app in any way that infringes the rights of others or violates applicable laws.
Do not rely on the app as a sole source for safety-critical or time-critical decisions.

Privacy

Your use of Wakt is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how the app handles data. Wakt keeps your events and settings on your device and does not require an account.

Third-party services

Wakt is distributed through Google Play. Your download and any store-level reporting are governed by Google's terms and policies, which are separate from these terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

Wakt is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Calendar conversions, countdowns, and solar calculations are provided for general informational purposes and may contain approximations.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including any reliance on times, countdowns, or calendar values it displays.

Intellectual property

The app, its name, design, and original content are owned by their respective authors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing terms

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
